Compensation:
I conceived of the CTRL Foundation after realizing the only way to prevent the platform from becoming another engagement trap was to put it under values-aligned governance. Comparable mission-aligned CEO salaries once scaled: Wikipedia – $500k / Mozilla – $3M. However, this will begin lean initially — which means:

  • You must be financially stable enough to handle the early months.
  • You must be capable of leading funding efforts from the ground up.

Your Location:
In theory: Salt Lake City, UT. In reality: Work from wherever gives you the best access to funders, partners, and communities aligned with our mission. Periodic travel to SLC expected.

I am the Founder and Manager of the tech company wholly-owned by the CTRL Foundation. The platform is my vision. I have no direct role in the foundation aside from an advisory one.
